    Davey The King

    Even beyond the "Nostalgia" factor, this DVD is highly entertaining and fun to watch as a family, young and old. The Legend and Legacy of Davy Crockett has stood the test of time, like a folk hero, always the "Good Guy", honest and heroic during a different time in history. These two full length movies are compilations and edited story lines from the Original Disney Davey Crockett TV Series The story lines are simple, clean, no profanity and great for a little history lesson for kids, (and adults) Especially Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier. And when Davey teams up with Mike Fink, The King of the River...Well, that's how Legends are born!!! I highly recommend this Davey Crockett Series to anyone and everyone.

    The first part of the movie was not good at all, I was not pleased it stayed in a frozen picture for awhile but then when we got threw that the rest was ok. We usually do not send back items, it was a special childhold memory for my husband and he did really enjoy what we could see. Thank you Linda

    Great Nostalgic Film

    Great nostalgic Walt Disney film that took American kids on a Davy Crockett craze during the mid-fifties. There were huge sales of Crockett coon skin caps, buckskin jackets, etc. He was an American Hero.

    Sellers and Allen or Allen and Sellers?

    This is a totally wild movies that borders on reality. In the mix it is a battle of the beauties where every guy has a host to chose from to make pick a favorite, with all of the in first place, Of course Peter O'Toole is the male heir to the throne of the Prince, but his lack of moral character does detract, but it is all in good fun, except if it were reality. Then there is the shoot out for comic relief. I think Sellers is the winner of Allen in this one, as he is the most insane and over-the-top in ham acting. The supporting cast is to die for and everyone has a shining moment. This is a circus of A "Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum" and any Shakespearian Comedy, with twists and turns and both in physical activity and dialogue. Not for kids!
