I used to hate this show...
I don't know how far standards have fallen in television today, or if maybe my tastes have simply changed, but I used to hate-watch Charmed. It was like Buffy, with its attractive cast and genre storytelling, but the scripts always seemed vastly inferior. Now, I don't know, I love it. I specifically bought this to add to the collection so I wouldn't have to attempt network television anymore, but I was genuinely surprised at how much better this is than most of the current shows available. And the blu ray looks great. I'm not sold on butchering the aspect ratios of old 4:3 shows just to make them fit widescreen televisions, but DVD's seem to die in my Series X, and that crisp beautiful picture quality sure is an enticing trade. Glad I waited for a decent sale, glad I used ebay instead of alternate retailers, and I'm glad I bought this.
