    REVIEW OF ELECTRO HARMONIX MEMORY TOY ANALOG DELAY

    I bought this pedal with the intention to try and 'warm up' my current tone. This would be an addition to my current analog delay and I was thinking to try to play around with the delay settings for both pedals to complement each other. EHX's Memory Toy was a perfect choice since it was very compact and takes up little space in my board. The pedal gave my tone more of that 'depth' I needed and as a bonus, added a bit of chorusing as well! What I really like was the simplicity of the approach when it came to tweaking and has that dark sounding delay that I always loved about all of the EHX memory delay line. Im my opinion, a very cool product. Not a 'toy' as advertised. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles as his bigger brothers do, but I loved the simplicity - took me from tweaking ...

    Does the trick but only to a point..

    I love EHX stuff and this little pedal for a simple delay performs admirably... but delays arent simple things.. and one size cannot fit all. So i took a star off for limitation. There are other small form factor pedals that deliver tripple the content for basically the same price.. is the quality of the delay itself good? of course.. theres just no tweaking it at all...

    Easy echo

    A simple 'three knob' delay, sounds great, easy to use. If you don't need a wonderland of delay and modulation options, but just want great sounding and easy to use basic delay effects this is a great choice.

    For the price I highly recommend this pedal.

    This pedal has alot of different delay settings to use. Once you figure out where to set the blend knob it really makes the pedal sound better. The mod switch is a nice addition for some eerie delay sounds.
