Stunning Kosta Boda Atoll Bowl! Even prettier than described and photos showed. Absolutely beautiful! The shipping cost was reasonable considering the weight of the bowl - a very hefty piece of glass! Shipping was swift and the packaging was safe and secure. A great experience - Thank you seller! Packaged securely, arrived early, good deal, the 8 cards are lovely, 5 envelopes received instead of 8 but price deal made that ok and I have plenty stashed cover that. Thank you seller! Delighted!

    Fast and in beautiful condition

Slight weathering of the dust cover and a lovely inscription to its previous owner on the inside of the front cover is the only thing which would distinguish it from a new book. I love this book. I was finally replacing a much used and disintegrating mass market paperback with a hardback. I was thrilled to find such a reasonably-priced and beautiful book.

    Ok but not great

Description was not very detailed. The book was the edition I looked for but the book overall wasn’t in the condition I would want to shelve in my library. The dust jacket had “age spots” and several small tears - the book jacket looked to be less than pristine around the edges - the pages themselves are nice - I’ll keep it to loan out but will look for another to shelve.

  • Very pleased. Little bit of water damage on the top that wasn’t in the pictures. But didn’t smudge and words or numbers. Overall happy!

  • 1st Print 1st Edition Silmarillion

The Silmarillion I bought is accurate and has an amazing map included. I enjoy a good history of Middle earth and this provided the means of reading about it!

  • J.R.R. Tolkien does it again

The Silmarillion is an amazing story and talks about how the world of Middle-Earth was created. It is one of Tolkien's finer works, it is similar to the book of Genesis in the Bible, as some people compare it to, despite Tolkien denying that any of his Middle-Earth works have allegory of any kind. Though It's beautiful yet complex and full of detail yet remains incomplete. It talks about the High Elves and the war with the first Dark Lord Morgoth and the recovery of Silmaril's. I will not say anything beyond that, the rest of the story you'll find out for yourself. While it's a difficult read, if your up for the challenge its worth reading. I highly recommend it.
