    MAKING LEOMOADE

    A. I love Miss Lanchester. She was a brilliant character actress and comedianne. B. Miss Lanchester made the best of a far from ideal marriage, and, with Charles Laughton's co-operation, made it last and in the process both of them flourished. C. Her telling of her life is full of whit and truth. Would that more women in her situation, and there are many, were as intelligent as she was about it.
