THANK YOU for your kind words! Yes, they are "REAL" silver...'925' sterling,which is an industry standard. Please understand, however, that real sterling silver will tarnish over time-it's a simple matter of chemistry. Depending on your environment & things you use (soaps, lotions, sprays; etc), tarnish may happen sooner or later...but it WILL happen. Occasional gentle wiping with a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth will help keep tarnish at bay.
