One of the few wall mouted telephones available.
Trying to replace our old wall mounted telephone turned out to be a problem, but this phone one does the job nicely, easy to fit to the wall and sturdy looking, most other wall mountable phones looked cheap and nasty. It has all the usual features such as last number redial, 11 programmable buttons for your most used numbers, handsfree option, variouse ringer setting and headset option if required. It replaced the same model which lasted only a few of years but this one seems to work a bit better than the old one. Not suitable for wall mounting
This phone does everything I wanted except work when mounted on the wall. Has it ever been tested as a wall phone? Do B.T. have a quality Control Department? On a flat surface the receiver makes good contact with with the base of the phone and all is well. When wall mounted the contact between the receiver and the base of the phone is just not there. My wall is flat and my old B.T. phone worked very well when mounted there.This phone does everything I wanted except work when mounted on the wall. Has it ever been tested as a wall phone? Great corded phone with amplification
I bought the BT Converse 2200 purely for it's ability to amplify sound from the earpiece over the 'normal' level. Being hard of hearing I often found it difficult to hear callers - especially those with quiet voices, poor diction or pronounced accents. I am pleased to report that it does exactly what I want it to do. The sound quality is good and it has a useful "Handsfree" speakerphone facility with volume control. There are 11 speed dial buttons and it's possible to connect a headset. All controls are very easy to use and the buttons are clearly marked. It can be used as a desk phone or wall-mounted. Mine is white but I understand it's also available in black. Good phone for the hard of hearing
Good phone for the hard of hearing, with the amplify feature. We have two so my other half can take a call in office or kitchen, he can't really handle an ordinary fixed line phone or mobile - this works for him. Comfortable handset, so you don't end up with finger cramp after a long call, dead easy to use. Programmed memory keys seem to de-programme if you unplug it, which can be a nuisance.
