A great watch to have
OK it may not be the exact watch to wear with a suit. But in my Army days. I didn't go anywhere with out it, and those were the old CWC manual watches. The one I bought is a good up grade from the old style watches. It's smaller and lighter. But you can't beet a good old G10 military watch for time keeping, and again I don't go anywhere with out it. I thought the price I paid was right for something this good. I have a number of watches and the G10 is my favorite watch. Though RAF PILOT or NAVY DIVERS issue watches look better, and are more expensive. The do the same as NWC G10. It came in a great look metal container. That had foam cushioning at the top and base of the container, though it was not really needed for this model. There was also a small instruction card. All round worth the ... Thoroughly good watch
Smaller than the standard G10 it replaced (finally gave up after being dropped one too many times and then run over!), it is slightly easier to wear with cuffs, is still clear to read and feels as robust. Not quite as easy to read at night (luminous hands and dial markers only, not figures), it remains a thoroughly workable and functional all-weather item. If you are thinking of using a strap other than the one supplied, it will only take the slightly narrower (18mm) straps ...most Regimental PRIs supply these... not the wider military issue ones. Nice watch, good price, easily design to swap bands regularly for coordinating colors.
Decent watch at the price point. Band is easily shortened with sissors and a lighter on the edge. A little abrasive on skin under the watch as only 18mm band, but just takes a little getting used to the nato strap design; it is different.
