I purchased the collection primarily for one cartoon, Feed the Kitty. I remembered this kitten from my childhood. My 16 year old daughter has several t shirts with pussyfoot, the kitty on them, but had no idea who she was. Todays toons are poorly done and sort of evil. My daughter loved the cartoon, in fact watched all of them and loved them all. Bring back the good old days of cartooning, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, and Bugs. Daffy Duck Rocks! It was worth every penny, even if i had just gotten the cartoon Feed the Kitty. For those of you who dont remember, this is the cartoon where the Bulldog Marc Antony falls hard for the sweet kitten, and tries to keep his mistress from discovering his new pal. Then thinks the poor little waif has been baked into a cookie. It is soooo great. My only wish was that this collection had one of the cartoons of the two dogs I remember. I dont know their character names, but one was big with perky ears and one was small with hound ears. The little one was always yapping hysterically, making cats shoot straight up to hand from the ceiling by their claws. You guys need to introduce your kids or grandkids to the good old days of pure fun cartooning.Read full review

Loved this box set, I grew up in the sixties and seventies and these cartoons were the best, still are. This collection is uncut near as I can tell and play just like the day they were made, including the openings etc. and theres plenty here to see so its a good value that way as well. I plan to buy the rest of the collection as I can afford it. Also loved the inside info on the artists and how they worked back in the day, this is not just entertainment, its major cartoon history. If you grew up loving Looneytoons then youll love seeing them again, with the world changing the way it is I find these a fun escape from time to time, dont be afraid to revisit your youth with the best cartoons ever made - Looney Tunes-! - its great therapy-!
We decided to get this to provide a large group of kids invited to an adult holiday party with an entertainment option that might keep their interest while the adults mingled.... we actually rented chairs and set up a home "theater" in a large bedroom on the second floor of our house - complete with a box of popcorn similar to the ones they use in real theaters. We enlisted the help of a neighborhood baby sitter to keep the popcorn flowing and keep tabs to make sure things remained under control (a great idea as it turned out). The kids LOVED the CDs - there is no denying these are the best cartoons, far superior to what I would consider second rate and ultra violent stuff that is being put out these days, and the plan to keep them occupied (and laughing) worked brilliantly. After the party, when we were exhausted, we sat down and watched a few of the cartoons ourselves, and as expected, even though we were very tired, we were HOWLING in minutes. This was an A+++ buy.Read full review
Nice product. I really enjoy watching the old cartoons, when entertainment was artful, creative, and clever. So funny to see art imitate life, and I miss the talent gone from today's animation, replaced with raunchiness, borderline perversion and crude bathroom humor. Years ago I used to enjoy going to with my buddies to the Festival of Animation in SF, because the cartoons were edgy and ridiculous, and fun to take in animation that was sometimes hard-core. Today, that style has become mainstream, which in my opinion is sad and pathetic. What a find! Thanks very much, always happy to get something that's NOT politically correct, and true in it's form, and sometimes absolutely ridiculous, and therefore hilarious. Thanks again.
