states on description that the valve is solid brass but the valve in the kit i have been sent does not feel heavy enough to be solid brass and when tapped with finger sounds plasticy and not solid ,think its what is called an abs plastic shroud around thge valve to keep it cool. i have purchased better v heavy solid bar valves previously and this is not solidx brass as stated in description. on the plus side it all looks good when fitted but have doubts about how good it will stand the test of timestates on description that the valve is solid brass but the valve in the kit i have been sent does not feel heavy enough to be solid brass and when tapped with finger sounds plasticy and not solid ,think its what is called an abs plastic shroud around thge valve to keep it cool. i have purchased better v heavy solid bar valves previously and this is not solidx brass as stated in description. on the plus side it all looks good when fitted but have doubts about how good it will stand the test of time

Great shower,looks fantastic on the wall, the head is big and lovely to be under. The thermostatic valve works really well and the control is great. Be aware that the bracket for the shower head feed is not long enough if you are using an exposed pipe work ( the feeds for the head are outside the wall ).

Fab thermostatic shower
The rainfall shower head is large. Its easy to switch between that and the hand-held or halfway gives you both. Powerful shower with easy to use controls. Would say it looks and performs very similar to more expensive models. Comes in a large rectangle box with all pieces separate and individually wrapped. Plumber had no difficulty installing the shower (the pipes were the issue). Make sure you use a spirit level to check the thermostat bar is straight.The rainfall shower head is large. This item was okay at first but after only six months use it was not working correctly the thermostat would not mix the hot and cold water we were only getting very hot water all the time. Would not recommend this item.
