value for money replacement for original cpu cooler
original fan was becoming noisy, and was expensive to replace. didn't need anything exotic in the way of cpu cooling as I'm not a serious gamer or overclocker. this unit not only gave a larger heat exchanger, with thermal paste already installed, but also a larger quieter fan, all at a price just over half the price of the original smaller OEM fan (and as it is an artic cooler product should last well.)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If it suits your build and fits board it's very good.
Just fitted this cooler to my rather dated AMD Athlon 2 rig after my water cooling kit failed and was surprised how quiet it is. The motherboard is ASUS and it fitted OK relative to the ram etc. You do need to check as the cooler heat sink is Chunky. System runs at 32 degrees. Cannot tell you if it would suit modern CPU. Worth the money
