    I am a Gold Star Mother. While I do not embellish the thought of GSM pins being sold to someone who may not know or understand the significance of the pin, I am grateful for the opportunity to do so. In a prior attempt to obtain a replacement pin from the military, it had become rather difficult to obtain one and after almost a year of waiting, I was sent the wrong pin. This pin, in of itself, arrived quickly is in pristine condition. It is something I will cherish and wear with pride.

    Beautiful Pin. My brother was KIA in Vietnam in 1968. When I sent to the national records archives for a pin they said they could not find any records on his death. I resent my application with more documentation including his memorial page from the Vietnam Memorial I didn't get any response. When I saw these I decide to skip the red tape and order one.
