First time I've bought Granger's G-Wax and it does the job but preferred brands I've used in the past: Sno Seal and Nikwax (think Nikwax only do spray proofers these days). Other brands applied easier and took less product to proof. However may buy again as G-wax is cheaper.

However, the packaging was awful, I'm amazed Royal Mail even agreed to handle and deliver it. Pointed ends of pegs sticking out of the parcel like dangerous weapons. Due to the fact that there was absolutely no protective packaging inside the flimsy cardboard box that they were sent in, allowing sharp points of pegs to penetrate the box and the outer wrapping very easily. Think that really needs to be addressed before someone gets injured.
