    Lightning delivery of this brass grommet kit! I had one just like it years ago and found it perfect for installing grommets for cable or rope attachment points on tarps and car covers.

    Not good for me. Grommet material is cheap and thin. Not suitable for tarps. To top it off the tool to press the grommet into the washer was defective with a malformed base that screwed up the finish job. Don't waist your money and time. Spend more. It will be worth it.

    Easy to use!

    So I practiced on a thick piece of fabric first, and it was successful on the first try! Someone STOLE the tire cover off of my Jeep. As so I decided that I needed to "Tie Wrap" my new tire cover to the tire frame. This product help me do this in a clean secure way! Great product!

    Pretty flimsy

    I expected these grommets to be more heavy-duty. If you don't have a demanding application, they might be okay. For one thing, the punch crushes the grommet pin rather than flaring it out, so the mechanical connection between the ring and pin is less than ideal. And, because the metal parts are so thin, the prospects of their staying in place are not good. Having said that, I haven't had one fall out yet (after two weeks of use).

    They need a different tool kit that works with the grommets!

    The tool that came with the grommets on the final tap on the tool in up cutting a hole all around the outside of the grommets. There was nothing wrong with the grommets, the problem was with the tool kit! I had to get a different tool kit. I have responded to this once before. I can't send you any pictures this time because I have already installed my new tarp!

    Poor Materials

    This item is very cheaply made. There is no way you can use this item to make a hole with the enclosed rings to make a good finish product. The materials are very poor. The tool use to cut the hole on the cloth is not sharp at all. Not recommended.

    Save your screens or tarps

    I install these in the solar screen that I use to cover hoop greenhouses. I lace the pieces together using them. So far, my screens have lasted against high winds and rain.
