Does the job well
Bought this to front-end my Fender Super which, like many classic valve amps, has very high gain even at the low volume settings. This device does exactly what it says, no background noise/interference, very smooth linear response and allows me to use the Fender Super in small spaces as well as taking advantage of the inherent high gain distortion without blowing the roof off!

Does what I need pretty well. I use it in the FX Loop of my Friedman Runt Amp enabling me to keep the two main volumes turned up so the output valves still cook a bit for great tone then this little box allows me to turn the overall volume back down when I need to practice quieter at home.... NO it's not an attenuator but then a decent attenuator will cost around £180 more money. There would be no need to use it in a live situation so for the price it does a pretty good job at home.... Well presented, made from plastic with a nice big control knob. Don't know how long it will last but I'm guessing if I don't abuse it then It's just a box with a potentiometer inside so should last forever really...Does what I need pretty well. I purchased this to use on a Marshall amp with no master volume. Honestly a great buy, using it both in the effects loop and at the end of my effects board really opens up a range of tonal possibilities I never knew i had at my disposal.

Super value master volume control for loud amps

Excellent volume control
Works brilliantly with my Joyo BantamP Zombie and G112 Vintage cab. The volume control allows me to max out the volume knob on my amp and still play at reasonable volume. On both clean and overdrive channels I find my amp produces better tones using this excellent product.
