    Much better transfer of classic comedy than the DVDs

    One of the few Carry Ons that overcomes the limitations of budget, etc. Also avoids the worst excesses of saucy postcard/non-PC (take your pick) humour - having a strong and fun female lead in Fenella Fielding (Valeria Watt) helps. Spoofs a load of horror films such as House of Wax (1953) and various of the Hammer House of Horror series. Harry H. Corbett makes a refreshing change from Syd James in another lead role (Inspector Bung). Kenneth Williams on fine form. Plenty of laughs overall. One of the best carry Ons. Transfer from a relatively clean source to Blu-Ray, original screen format restored.
