Couldn’t get a successful connection
I’ve done quite a few Ethernet cables over the last few years with cabling up my homes, I bought these on recommendation that with the little plastic feeding bit would make it easier to get the connector on. I tried 4 time’s to get a connection to work and every time I managed to get only 3/4 pairs of the twisted cable to make a connection. Don’t know if it was my technique or the cable I have but didn’t work for me. Went back to a standard connector where you have to feed the cables without a guide in and made it work first time. Rubbish!
There is no way those plugs would work with a standard CAT6 cable! They are designed for some extremely thick wires and those standard size end up very loose and messy inside those plugs. There are no no grooves to guide the individual wires and hold them together.
