    Got this for putting in oil into my Land...

    Got this for putting in oil into my Land Rover Defender Transfer and Main Gearboxes. It does the job, the difficulty is that the battery is under the passenger seat. The electrical cable, inlet and outlet pipes are long enough to pump the fluids into the relevant gearbox. Probably won't do the engine oil with it, because I don't think the electrical cable will be long enough and it's probably easier to use gravity to drain and just pour in new oil.

    Can’t use out of the box in my case

    Be careful and consider internal diameter of dipstick hole on you car before buying. The tube supplied doesn’t fit mine so can’t use. I’m now looking for an adaptor and different size tube. Would be better if at least adapters supplied in this kit...

    Didn’t work well on Toyota Aygo (C1, 107)

    It would much easier to drain via sump plug as this machine is quite slow, also on my car it’s not easy to position the suction pipe correctly in the sump so I had to remove sump plug anyway to get all the old oil out. I would not recommend this product other than for removing a bit of oil if you accidentally over fill. Also a drain on the battery due to the time it takes.

    The pump is leaking somewhere inside and oil is going into the switch and back of the pump.

    Poorly constructed as the pump leaks oil inside and it could cause a risk. I only used the pump once and it has been disposed of now as I think it is unsafe.

    Not quick but saves the mess

    Takes longer than the spec says, about 30 mins to empty 8 litres when warm, but it saves a lot of messing around with sump draining so worth the money
