The Midwest Book Review "Kramis and Hearne helpfully preface their recipes with a cast iron maintenance defriefing. you'll really start to warm to cast iron when you picture a puffed Dutch baby, a golden Dungeness crab quesadilla, hearty beef stew, or tender baked halibut…So dig out that cast iron cookware from the back of the cupboard-you'll find out it's more than a relic of the woodstove era. Looks appetizing!

I'm a huge fan of cast iron cooking and this book appears to have some wonderful dishes. Got one for myself and another to give as a gift.

    • Cast Iron Skillet Cookbook

We have a cabin by the river and do alot of iron skillet cooking, and after seeing this book, decided that it was one that we needed to have at the cabin. The recipes are tremendous, appear to be easy to prepare and don't require alot of non available ingredients and are presented in mouth watering color photos. This is a really great recipe book, one that every camper or rv'er should have. Happy cooking!

    • Needs to many weird products.

The receipes take to many items and to much time to prepare. Not simple receipes. Was not impressed.
