I guess I just expected the condition to be a tad better, considering it was described as "good". Two big divots in the spine, a page missing, library binding and permanent stamps and stickers all over it. But I guess you get what you pay for.

    Great book

    This book was great, it was the fourth in the series and the third by Eric Nylund. Despite the book having not much Covenant ground battle, and the only very brief appearance of the Master Chief, I heavily enjoyed this book. The main focus was the training of Spartan-IIIs on a planet known as Onyx, and the planet itself becomes a very important part of the story. In a phrase, things get crazy. As stated, Spartan-117, aka John aka Master Chief, has hardly any time in the book, and the focus is instead on another Spartan-II, Kurt. One would think that without the Master Chief, the book would not be good at all, but I liked it a lot, and the end was simply amazing; one of the best endings in any book I've ever read. You have to read the other books to truly appreciate this one, and ...

    I LOVED IT!

    This book was really fun to read. I always enjoy reading books from the halo series because you learn so much about the halo universe. It tends to bring a lot more depth into the videogame. If you were a fan of the other books then pick this one up. It's still writin by Nylund so of course its just like the older books, awesome. It will give you a little more history on the forunners and their technology.

    Halo by Eric S. Nylund

    I thought this was a well written book, lots of action, good story line...new what to expect from Eric S. Nylund writting...I wish he would have wrote all 3 Halo books. If you are a Halo fan like I am you won't be disappointed. Ending was also great, unexpected and leaves you wanting more. Buy the book!

    Great follow up from the last three novels!!!

    What can I say??? a GREAT read, and as usual Eric Nylund has done it again!!! I just love his stuff, and he is the man!!! check this book out... also buy his other three why you are at it...:)

    Good Buy!

    I bought this book because I've read the other ones in the series and enjoyed them. So I wanted to continue the story. I like this book a lot. It was a well written book. I actually read this in two days. The story keep drawing me back to it. I look forward to reading it again someday. I disliked nothing about the book.
