I even have problems with the basic mechanical models. Frustrating when you've got a can to open. Whilst the move seems to be towards ring pull tins. Please note that although the tin openers are listed as Stainless steel the ones that i received weren't stainless steel, how would they be for a couple of quid, they were tin or steel, very easily tested with a magnet, which sticked to them all over. a magnet doesn't stick to stainless steel, messaged the seller about this issue.
