    I would have (initially) agreed with 'razorman's assessment of this book, but for one thing. I read this book about a year before the movie came out. I did enjoy the smooth narrative style of the author, (it was a very easy read), but while reading of the escalation of events regarding the money's disposition, I thought it was preposterous. A few days later, at a friends house we got to talking of the latest books we'd read. I began my review by declaring how ridiculous the books final act had been, and began to describe the circumstances involving the increasingly desperate measures taken by the "hero" to contain the situation he and his friends had gotten themselves into. But, about halfway through I started to rethink the story line, to see things through the characters own twisted ...
