    Nice product

    My feelings about Smashbox's liquid lipstick are mixed. Like other products in the brand, it's of good quality and the color is attractive. That said, I bought it (based on the photo) thinking that the color would be a brighter deep pink--more fuschia--and not as dark (it was described as "metallic burgundy," which in fairness is pretty accurate, though the metallic is minimal--it's more of a slight shimmer). The color looks quite deep against my very pale skin and I don't think it's particularly flattering. More importantly, I was hoping that after application, it would dry down on the lips to a dry, soft and powdery/"pillowy" finish, but it didn't. It stays moist and somewhat sticky--and it's a magnet for strands of hair around my face! It does seem to last on the lips somewhat longer ...
