Effective roof repair product
Very quick and easy to apply. I used this product previously and found it to be excellent at sealing small gaps in roofing felt. I was completing a temporary repair to a badly leaking garage roof but the repair has lasted over 18 months with zero water ingress. Happy to use it again. Follow the user guidance and wear gloves.

Better than a raincoat!
Black Jack waterproof coating was a real find, when I got onto my shed roof I found that the tar felt had so many holes in it looked like a piece of Nottingham lace. One coat of Black Jack and appearance wise the roof looked like new. Unnecessarily I put on a second coat just to use up the rest of the tin, my shed roof looks like new and more importantly it no longer leaks when it rains! I can honestly recommend Black Jack Waterproof Coating.Black Jack waterproof coating was a real find, when I got onto my shed roof I found that the tar felt had so many holes in it looked like a piece of Nottingham lace. A sad loss to maintenance contractors.
I have specifiied this material (all weather compound) for years, the better compound for use though is the bitumen based compound as it is easier to use, less expensive, can be used in areas of high humidity, and dries quickly allowing foot traffic and should be considered the prime allweather compound. Sadly, it has been phased out and is no longer easily available. Easy to apply and leaves a good finish
Its easy to apply using a roller. I recommend using a paint stirrer to mix it up well first. It goes a long way. I used it to stick down the overlaps on my 10x6 shed roof and apply 2 coats with some still left over
