    Why I Like Extras:The Extra Special Series Finale

    I enjoyed The Extra Special Series Finale. Andy Melman (the actor) had the good fortune to get a TV series (that originally was pretty damn funny) but by the time the BBC and series writers were through became nothing but a load of crappy cliches. Love his best friend Maggie!This show wasn't anything like The Extras series and my friends and I were sort of hoping for more of the same laughs. Still the ending was sweet and Andy learned to love himself and appreciate his true friends. I Big Brother scenes were pretty amusing!I don't know if many guys would appreciate this show but the girls and I really liked it!

    The Extra Special Series Finale

    The comedy team of Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant are at their funniest best in this third and final show of a series called Extras, which is about a would be actor, Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) and his best friend, Maggie (Ashley Jensen). The show centers around the two friends' trials and triumphs as they struggle through the daily life of trying to make "it" in the television and movie industry. (Steve Merchant plays Andy's dim witted agent.) Ricky Gervais, as always, is brilliant, but the show wouldn't have been as movingly powerful if not for Ashley Jensen's believable performance as his one true friend. I saw the series when it first aired on HBO and ended up laughing (and crying) even harder through my second viewing of it. That's when knew I was hooked and had to own the DVD.

    This is the hilarious conclusion of The Extras. A mix of Laugh out loud and cringeworthy entertainment.

    the extras dvd "Bloody Mary".

    Loved this dvd, seriously fuuny, makes you giggle and laugh out loud, as you cringe at the main character, and the scrapes and lies he tells, watch him fall from grace in the public eye, very good ending too.
