  • Most favourable review

    Great for new readers.

Clever poems that are relatively quick to read and words are appropriate for new readers. Kids feel a sense of accomplishment when they get the humor and can read many poems in a sitting. Unlike with a chapter book which can sometimes be intimidating or just take too long.

  • Most critical review

    light in the attic

I was upset when I got this. I did not realize it did not have the original cover on it. That was part of the charm. WHile it might have been my oversight by reading carefully (I had no idea what no dust meant) I was not pleased with the condition of this book. The book is the book. Content is great.

  • Great Book for Kids and Adults.......

I decided to buy these books for three little boys that belong to a friend of mine. I had four sons and purchased Shel Silverstein books back in the 1980's when we were taking quite a long trip to the east coast by car, with 4 male children couped up in the car....you can only guess why I needed some great entertainment for thems....They loved the books and still have them for their children. I went to ebay to look for the books...it is much more convenient than running to the store. Found 2 of them, bid on them, and bought them. They were in my hands in about 4 or 5 days, and enjoyed by the little friends in less then a week after I mentioned the books to them.... Thank....ebay for making 3 little boys happy, and for making my purchase so easy.... Nancy

  • Compelling to the young and we who are older!

My third graders always love these, and other Shel Silverstein works! Now, I have this to send to my French granddaughters who will love them too!
