My comments are about the Ottilie Patterson part of the CD. I found it impossible to listen to Michael O´Duffy. She is well known as a singer with Chris Barber´s jazz band but here she sings Irish folk songs for an invited audience, accompanied by an accordionist and her then husband Chris Barber on bass. It has a strong party atmosphere with lots of informal talk between songs. It is very different from her other recordings but I found it very enjoyable.
