Synopsis
You have never read a book like this before -- a book that comes along once in a lifetime to change lives forever. In the rain forests of Peru, an ancient manuscript has been discovered. Within its pages are 9 key insights into life itself -- insights each human being is predicted to grasp sequentially; one insight, then another, as we move toward a completely spiritual culture on Earth. Drawing on ancient wisdom, it tells you how to make connections among the events happening in your life right now and lets you see what is going to happen to you in the years to come. The story it tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life and to direct your steps with a new energy and optimisim as you head into tomorrow.

      The Celestine Prophecy

James Redfield presents what is classified as a fictional account of a search for a series of revelations or truths that are revealed as the main character ventures through both physical and mystical experiences. Each "insight" leads to new trials and tests that the main character, and the reader, encounters in order to get to the next "insight," or revealed truth. The novel is adventurous as well as metaphysical in the subtle and captivating scenarios that come one after the other. Reading this "adventure" becomes captivating from the very beginning and challenges the reader to continue pursuing the quests that are put forth. "The Celestine Prophecy" is the first of a series of subsequent follow-ups, or sequels, that enlarge upon the import of the first novel. Additional insights are ...

    • GREAT Action/Suspense story!!

A lot of people I know took this(great)book a little TOO seriously..I've heard it branded:"sacrilegious" "occult"and other harshly accusatory words..But I personally took this book for WHAT it is:a fictional drama about an acient text with never-before-heard-of-views on life and its' underlying purpose!! As a devout born-again Christian, who KNOWS for a FACT,the actual meaning behind human existence,Istill was not particularly"disturbed"or appalled at this fictional books accounts of invisible energy fields, and power struggles between individuals trying to acquire more energy by "taking"it from others!! Like I stated earlier,if taken for what it IS,this is an AMAZINGLY entertaining novel!! I could NOT put this book down(until I finished it)when I first read it back in 2000!! The copy I now ...

    • Pretty ok

For $4 I wasn’t expecting an in amazing quality book and I don’t really mind a book that has wear and tear. That just means it’s well loved. But one of the pages was torn out clearly (doesn’t mean I still can’t read it. And the spine was coming apart from the pages in the front but some tape fixed it right up. But it was perfectly acceptable for a $4 book. I’m pretty happy with this 👍🏻

    • Great read

Great read. Bought it for a friend. I read it many years ago but the second time is even better. Will pass it on now. Spread the energy.

    • Ignore the title, read it anyway, it is one of those thought provoking books that either changes or affirms perspectives. If not, you won't read it,

Wow. I resisted getting this book, or reading it, for the longest time. Any time someone brought it up, I rejected it as politely as I could. I think it was the name. Weirded me out. However, after the first few pages of reading it, I knew why I was reading it right now, even if not why I rejected it many times before without knowing what it was... Don't let the name push you away. If you want to follow a fun adventure while also unraveling some of the mysteries of the human condition, this is an excellent read!
