Sale of goods

By placing an order with Carpet and flooring Outlets (as of now referred to as us/we/our) you (the customer) are accepting these terms and conditions, as well as our terms of website use, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

We will acknowledge your order by E-mail as soon as possible. Any e-mail or other acknowledgment from us does not constitute our legal acceptance of your order.

Your order confirmation is proof of purchase.

Please ensure you keep this in a safe place as this will also be your guarantee on the following terms:

Deliveries:

All deliveries Nationwide are delivered using a 3rd party courier unless delivery is within 15 miles of our showroom. In which case we may use our own delivery van.

Timescales:

Carpet orders (ONLY) WITHIN 3 – 5 Working days.

Hard flooring orders (ONLY) WITHIN 2 - 3 Working days

All deliveries must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all goods prior to signing for them. Carpet Factory Outlets cannot be held liable for any damage which is noticed after delivery has occurred.

All items must be delivered indoors, to a dry and secure area.

All timescales given on our website are to be used as a guideline only. We shall make every effort possible to meet these timescales; however, delays can occur due to circumstances which are not under our control. We therefore cannot be under any liability for any delays or failure to deliver within the estimated timescale given. Additionally, all timescales quoted do not include any public holidays or Weekends.

We deliver to ground floor rooms only. If the goods do not fit into the property and they have been ordered specially, we cannot be held liable for this. Though we always endeavour to deliver to the ground floor room when delivering a piece of carpet we reserve the right to deliver said piece of carpet to an easily accessible location. This is due to both the potential weight and size of a piece of carpet.

Attempted deliveries

If a second delivery is required due to any problems accessing the property or for any reasons not mentioned prior to delivery on the “Delivery assistance” form or if you (the customer) have failed to accept delivery (ONCE ARRANGED WITH THE COURIER) then we, Carpet factory outlets reserve the right to charge a £45.00 re-delivery fee.

As of 1st June 2016 on completion of your order (CARPET ORDERS ONLY) we will e-mail you a form titled “Delivery assistance” requesting necessary information to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of your order.

We will require this completed form to be returned to us within 48 hours(Should we not receive a completed form within 48 hours we will assume there are no potential issues that could affect the delivery and process the order as normal) In the event that an issue arises at the time of delivery that has not been identified on the “Delivery assistance” form then you may be liable to incur extra charges. (Please see “attempted deliveries” above
