- r***p (56)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseI had lots of 8mm regular and super 8 to splice. Cine Film Cement delivered quickly but I found it was of poor quality and didn’t provide sufficient adherence. Tested and tried more than 20 times and joints broke 75% of the time. Frankly one has to be able to rely on this stuff working. I discovered that superglue works well and was 95% reliable. A much cheaper and better solution.Reply from: retrospare- Feedback replied to by seller retrospare.- Feedback replied to by seller retrospare.Superglue huh? Wow, after all these years you in your infinate wisdom have found a much better way of splicing film that the entire film world never knew was sitting right under their noses. Or is it that you couldn't master the correct way of using the world accepted product? You should contact all the hundreds of users that have bought this from me over the years and educate them! I'm guessing you're the type who uses electrician's tape to wrap around a leaking pipe :-)
