    A rather effective air conditioner with three modes of cooling: fan only, dry and cool with compressor. The unit I have consumes 650W maximum. Not as noisy as I expected either high or low fan setting. Added infra red remote handy to switch on/ off cool mode and timer function from 1 to 24 hours. Sleep mode dims the temperature display and sets fan speed on low setting. Hot air exhaust tube is rigid and stretches to about 2m long so unit does need to be close to a window.
