Wiring incorrect at the stalk side…
Install took a few hours longer than anticipated as I had to rip it all apart again to find that the wiring at the stalk was incorrect. Mistakes like this could cause bigger issues like if the 12v supply was sent directly to the ecu. Fortunately the 12v supply was wired correct. If you do buy please double check, other than that it’s working like a much more expensive option

As you would expect
The stalk looks like OEM, installs easy and works well. The only flaw on mine is the buttons are a bit loose (they can move about 2mm, but this affects nothing). The harness wires colors match the colors described in the guide made by VW Teesside / VW Direct: Blue - Pin 1 Red/Yellow Stripe - Pin 2 Black/Yellow Stripe - Pin 3 White - Pin 9 Black/Blue - FUSE BOX slot 5
