    11-30 cassette Sora

    I need some extra hill climbing gear. I had a ultegra 12-25 gears... I changed to a Sora 11-30 cassette for extra hill climbing. Works great on 9 speed ultegra derailleur. Had to do a few mods. But works great!

    I put this cassette on my road bike to enhance my climbing capacity. It worked great this weekend when I participated in numerous climbs. The hyperglide feature enhances the shifting. Do know this cassette can't be mounted on every road bike, so you know.

    Things about it.

    This 9 speed cassette had 11T, 12T sprockets from a 10 speed. No matter since I dropped the 11T, 12T and used the 12T, 13T from a 12-27 HG-50 to get fill the gap between 12T and 14T. Shimano's HG93 chain was very jumpy, but a SRAM PC951 chain made it an excellent set up.
