      The true reason for Christmas is the greatest miracle the world has ever seen.

      The book explains very clearly exactly why Christmas began to be celebrated in the first place (including pagan influences upon the many different forms of celebration Christmas may include), and why keeping Christmas in our hearts year round can change the world.

      Great Book

      What Chrismas is really about. Not the commerical, sectular, wal-mart shopping, present buying event. Nor the mythical stories of the little drummer boy, the 3 kings at the manager, even the date of Christmas. Book lays out the birth of Christ. The how and why it happened and how we have lost the true meaning of Christmas with all of the distractions. Holiday parties are not part of the true Christmas, but left over from the Romans. Every Christian should read. My Thursday morning men's group read this book for our December study. We all love the book and learned a lot.

      A wonderful book that should be reissued!

      It's the best book I have read about THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS, God's gift to us! John F. MacArthur provides secular history along with Biblical history and scriptures that brings out a fresh appreciation for the coming to earth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. During a busy time of year reading it during this time helped me to think about what is most important. It is unfortunate that this book is no longer in print.

      Scriptual, well written, and you thought you knew it all.

      You gain a better understanding when you get a feel for the surroundings and beliefs of the times written about. Such a simple little story says more than I thought that it would. Very well written and scriptural in details.
