  • The perfect book to get lost in!

I think anyone that is my age remembers what we were thinking when this book became a movie - the first of the "naughty" movies or so to speak; in some small way after seeing the movie, I think we all grew up wanting to become a Mrs. Robinson. The book, however paints a different story and makes one think about so much more than the corruption of the innocent. I had read this a long time ago. Somehow being now the age of Mrs. Robinson, I got more out of it.

  • Coming of age classic

I read this book many years ago and decided it was definitely time to revisit it. I'm glad I did.

  • Summer of '42

I bought Summer of '42 after having seen the movie. I knew I would enjoy it as much as the film. Indeed, it was superior, and it's one of those books that I'll keep on the shelf for future reading/lending. Herman Raucher captured the essence of growing up during those war years. The elation of finding who you are, juxtaposed against the tragedy of war. It's a book that speaks to my childhood in a time long, long ago.

  • Thanks for the quick work.

I was actually looking for a first printing but couldn't get that info, bought anyway.
