    A fantastic book

    One of the seminal books for understanding how people interact with each other. If you often find yourself in conversations where you wonder, "What just happened?" it's likely that the answers are here, along with how to change the outcome. You can also choose (in many situations) both how to feel, and how to act. This book shows you how. Written by, IMHO, one of the great thinkers of the 20th century.

    I wish he would have called it something other than games. It makes this very intense set of ideas sound too frivolous. It may have helped market the book but makes one wonder. His ideas about transactions between people and among groups are just about revolutionary, at least to me. His analysis of behaviors and interchanges helps me understand myself and those who have and do influence me. I was particularly impressed with his ideas about alcoholism.
