    Meets my needs

    The eq section is perfect for taming the mids in my LR Baggs Lyric. The all-in-one form factor has everything I need since the only effect I use is a bit of reverb. Be careful with hot preamp outputs like the Fishman Aura as they can easily overdrive the input trim.

    Job well done!

    I use it with a Dean Markley passive piezo stick on pickup on a nylon string guitar. The result - does exactly what's needed, adding fullness to the sound without the hiss you would get from upping the gain on your mixer. The bad - The gain boost feature adds a lot of hissing noise past level 4

    Awesome pre amp !!

    The Fishman Platinum Pro EQ is a must, especially for guitars with passive pick ups, or weak electronics. It makes all my Martins and resonators come alive and sound amazing. Its so good, it made my bandmate break up the act, and re-evaluate his life !!

    A great little addition for big bass sound.

    I am using this with a Taylor GS Mini Bass and an acoustic image amp. This box allowed me to shape the exact sound that I need for that bass. It was used, in perfect condition, arrived on time at a great price.

    Great preamp

    Does everything I need it to. I especially like the compression feature for hard strumming. Plus it's nice to bypass my signal and tune so the audience doesn't hear me sound like a hillbilly. haha
