It's Definitely the real thing, it's got a bit of weight to it and with the paint finish with a glossy under coat, surprisingly the buttons feel right even though it's 2nd hand. Over the years I've been through soo many Chinese copies those $30-brand-new wired controllers that arrives at your doorstep with NO legitimate packaging with the "Sony PlayStation" and "dualshock 2" stamp on it, It always only last me one week! I compared The 2 controllers side by side. The comparison is night and day!
