Just a lump of rubber with threads stuck out the sides. . .
But the OEM part is a tenner each and easily damaged when the intercooler is removed. So these ones at 1/2 the cost and virtually identical in dimensions are a no-brainer. They are actually 1mm less tall but the intercooler is connected by flexible tubes, so it fits perfectly anyway. Other bonus of course is OEM does not include nuts, but these are complete. Visually the VW ones are nicely 'waisted' so in the end it's the aesthetics that double the cost.
