Skinner, Annelise Anderson, and Martin Anderson, they are introduced by George Shultz and feature additional introductions by Nancy Reagan, Richard V. Allen, Judge William Clark, Michael Deaver, Peter Hannaford, Edwin Meese III and Harry O'Connor. From 1975 to 1979 Ronald Reagan gave more than 1,000 daily radio broadcasts, the great majority of which he wrote himself. This program represents the opening of a major archive of pre-presidential material from the Reagan Library and the Hoover Institution Archives. These addresses transform our image of Ronald Reagan, and enhance and revise our understanding of the late 1970s -- a time when Reagan held no political office, but was nonetheless mapping out a strategy to transform the economy, end the cold war, and create a vision of America that would propel him to the presidency. These radio programs demonstrate that Reagan had carefully considered nearly every issue he would face as president.     Reagan In His Own Hand

    I greatly enjoyed this title. I am a gigantic Ronald Reagan fan. He paints a great picture of ideas in these radio addresses that matter most to Americans.....the concepts of fairness, taking responsibility, democracy, the advantages of smaller government, and womens liberation, to name a few of the topics covered. He was a thinker, constantly writing. I have read several books on Ronald Reagan from authors who actually spent a lot of time with the man and so have evidence of what he was really like and how he really worked. He wrote all of these radio addresses, over 1000 of them in all. He is the ultimate American....patriot through and through.     Reagan in His Own Voice

    You would be hard-pressed to find a way of making your time in a car pass in a more pleasant way than listening to these tapes. Hours of excellent little clips of Reagan's wit and wisdom on a whole host of interesting subjects. They are timeless and filled with common sense. Listen and then pass them on.

    The best money I have spent in many years.

    I was born in California. I grew up thinking I knew this man. These CD bring back the warm secured feeling I had when President Reagan was in office.
