I bought this for a trip to the French Alps and have been really dissapointed. Firstly it is not intuitive (I am reasonably tech savvy), I had to refer to the instructions manual over and over again just to understand simple tasks - like selecting an address. It attempted to send me up a mountain track to a major ski resort despite there being danger signs to not use it. If you use reading glasses you will need them to read the text (ETA, Distance etc). I resorted to Google maps too often.

Ongoing review of Aguri RV520
Most of the time it is reliable, BUT in France it often gave incorrect directions. We had to have a road map as aback up. The countdown to a junction was erratic and when towing a caravan had to be prepared to turn early, especially when two exits close together. Road numbers in France change and may not be the fault of Aguri RV520. Small and lightweight
I am sure once I get used to it it will serve us well in France. However, I have found it very difficult to set up and understand the "tethering" method with my phone as I am not very tech savvy!. I will probably need help from a member of my family who can help me out.
