    what a picture

    this was a huge surprise although not directly a world war II film, it envolves WWII over 2 !/2 hours long, brilliant color, excellent screen play, absolutely believable plot...engaging I DO NOT BUY any film that is not a WAR Picture....but this was just special highly recommend this film to any history buff

    A amazing start of ww2 true story of a freighter captain (German) being chased around the globe by the British to keep him from getting home. Chase starts for personal as well as political reasons. Lots of twist and turns John Wayne and Lana turner are electric and the supporting cast if top notch! Highly recommend 😊. Very entertaining

    A great film! 2 of the biggest stars in hollywood history lana turner and john wayne in one film! It's beautifully directed and the cinematography is amazing..The beginning is a little slow but it definitely picks up..its a war film and done so well..So if you like john wayne films youll love it if you like lana turner films...Youll love it!
