This is a nice model of a private-owner wagon that would be found all over the UK’s railways of the 1930s onward. The body, in its green livery with white letters printed on is superb. The underframe, plastic, is detailed but, like all moulded wagon chassis of its time (1980s) the wagon brakes are not in line with the wheel treads. The heavy hook and bar coupling looks dated now but still suitable to couple up to newer models. I can recommended this wagon for conversion, taking the superb body and placing it on a more modern proprietary chassis or building up a kit of a 10ft wheelbase wagon- available in the shops or online. I have done one conversion already with excellent results.
