    DVD The Busines of Stangers

    Excellent--------------Very fast response from this vendor. Would reccomend to anyone in the market for a DVD. I'm a Julia Stiles fan, even though she is a flaming Democrat pinko. Same-same Stocker Channing.

    Not bad for an oddity

    Strange movie, this. It's a bit difficult to pin down, since it's not really a thriller nor a straight drama, although probably a bit of both. After a slightly muddled beginning in which I wasn't quite sure if the protagonist, well played by Stockard Channing, was fired or promoted from her former job with her corporation, the film settles down to an increasingly senseless needle match between her and a girl she has just got to know. Julia Stiles (unknown to me) plays the girl most convincingly as the menacing bitch who seems determined to put the protagonist to a series of stress tests, while we, the audience, wait to see if she really has what it takes to resist her. It's all a sort of psychological cat and mouse game that takes place in a luxury hotel over a rather long night, which in ...
