AAAA batteries, just like it says in the description!
I was a bit worried that the AAAA batteries might not look exactly as pictured, what if when they arrived they were square or hexagonal? Thankfully I need not have worried, when the parcel arrived, I overcame my feelings of anxiety and dread and ripped it open to discover that they were indeed cylindrical, just as pictured. What a relief!
