A slice of 'Camel' music to the ears.
From The Phantom Four playing working mens clubs in the mid 60's to the first decade in the Twenty First century I have seen and followed Andy Latimer and his band Camel perform their very own brand of 'progressive' rock music. From the very start of a Camel song its own distinctive style is recognized, like many other quality artists and groups. To know it is to love it! Rainbows End is the anthology of the Decca years 1973-85. a 4 CD collection spread over a period of time that saw many changes in personnel, but always Andy Latimer at the centre displaying his many musical qualities. It was in 1971 the very talented Pete Bardens joined Camel, which then extended to another dimension the writing and sound of the band. My musical preferences aside, This is probably the best quality ... My musical preferences aside, This is probably the best quality presentation Box Set/ Booklet I possess in my very extensive collection of CD's. The booklet is excellent in its detail and photo history that brings the reader right up to the current time of Andy's recovery from serious illness. Sure most Camel fans would have copies of most tracks on these albums as I do. There are several that in remastered format and different recordings you may not. But for the quality of the album alone it is a must buy!
