    Excellent DVD player

    Bought this dvd player by Sony because I already have a Sony TV and hoped to compliment it. Very happy with the style and pleasantly surprised by its slim and compact size. Does not have a display counter at front but has all displays via screen/remote ( which is very comprehensive). Picture quality and sound is as I expected from Sony - the best I've had so far. Unlike some players when you stop or switch off midway in a movie it can resume at the same point on restart. Due to compact size I use it in the bedroom which complements it wonderfully. My only critisism is it doesnt play DIVX movies - but it's still a brilliant dvd player.

    A DVD played with a continue point

    Bought one of this particular model a couple of years ago and have now bought another as I was delighted with one particular feature. Not only can you stop the player, and the next day continue watching the disc from the point you previously reached, but even if the DVD is ejected from the player and re-inserted, you can still continue watching from the point you previously stopped watching. A lot of DVD players will not do this.

    Excellent for the price

    Very basic functions and operations. No gimims, easy to operate and even looks good. If you get the oppertunity to buy one at a good price, go ahead.
