ATV Off Road Fury 4 features a variety of single- and multiplayer options for races, vehicles, riders, and gear with a total of 72 tracks to rip around. Beginning with single-player action, "Story" mode starts with the selection of a rider and a vehicle. Male and female racers are available, as well as a variety of ATVs, trophy trucks, MX bikes, and buggies. Each vehicle includes such tuning options as altering tire type and gear ratios, and riders may choose from multiple outfit colors and styles. As the rookie completes challenges, races, and events, they earn sponsorship, cash, and unlock new gear, such as vehicles, outfit colors and styles. Upgrades for engine, suspension, gearbox, exhaust, intake, and brakes become available as the rider progresses through the ranks. <br><br>A "Training" mode can help beginners become comfortable with vehicles and controls. Single point-to-point races with free-roaming environments such as "Supercross," "Rallycross," "National," "Hill Climb," "Head-to-Head," "Freestyle," and "Circuit" are available for single-and multiplayer action. Gamers can master a total of 30 freestyle tricks that include combos and linkers. Play with a friend in split-screen view, or go online and challenge up to eight players to a custom designed race. Select a series of races that alter the vehicle, terrain, and more, and then race for the finish against friends or strangers. Online features include voice and text chat, player profiles, downloadable content, and a data exchange. Rec room racers can also develop their own courses with the "Track Editor," and trade them with online players.

It came in a timely manor, and the disc was in the condition as listed, however... Shipping a laserdisc in just bubble wrap is not a great way to ship extremely fragile items through the aggressive USPS system. The corner was bent due to handling. I'm fortunate it arrived in one piece. Please make sure future fragile parsels are labeled as such with adequate protection.

Great game!
Ok, so the graphics aren't the greatest, as after all, it is a PS2 game. BUT, the game play is the most realistic of any atv game that I've played. All of the actions are very realistic, and very life like to actually riding that machine. So, the graphics aren't as good as newer systems, but the game play is fantastic! I highly recommend it!

I'm not sure what happened with the game... my Son played it for a while and then it wouldn't work right, he then played it in my Daughters console and it plays fine, so now he just plays it off the memory card that had stored the game on my Daughters memory card. Ive cleaned the PS, and it still wouldn't do anything, but, his console plays all his other games fine. It's a mystery i guess....anybody have any suggestions?? My Son Loves the game though! Good game, could be better.....
Has excellent variety of vehicles, gameplay, tricks, and graphics are some of the best of this genre. Disappointed by the lack of a "Freeroam" feature, like what is used in MX vs. ATV. The music used in this game is very good, menu features are easy to find and use. Overall good game, would recommend to all ATV and Bike gamers out there.

Awsome game! My cousin got it for me on Cristmas and I played it a ton. The story mode is fairly long but I beat it quickly but I still havent unlocked everything.The graphics are good but not as good as atv off road fury 2. The physics are more like atv off road fury 3. The tracks are awsome and so are the quads. The names of the quads are random and they made them up but you can clearly tell which ones are honda 450r's, ds650's or yfz450's. There are many others. You can also use dirtbikes and dune buggies. There are some other vehicles too. Its also cool how you can upgrade real parts like pipes and tires with real companies prouducts. Finally happy to grab the last major release of this series, great racing games and the soundtracks have great selections of music. And visually a great looking game for the PS2
