Product Information

In the film 'Batman Returns', Batman and Robin deal with the infamous Penguin, who has kidnapped prominent businessman Max Shreck. The Penguin threatens to expose Shreck's dirty business deals unless Shreck helps him to become a citizen of Gotham City. Meanwhile Shreck's secretary confronts him when she finds evidence that he is planning on draining the cities electricity, he pushes her out the window to shut her up, however she lands on her feet and Catwoman is born. The two eventually team up to try to take out Batman. The film features well-known cast members including, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Christopher Walken.

I think they tried too hard on this one
Batman Returns - I think they tried too hard on this on Not my favorite Batman movie, not even close. I really loved the original Batman, but Batman Returns just doesn't do it for me. I think it might have something to do with the villians (Penguin and Catwoman) they just aren't movie material in my opinion. The beginning is great, I really love the evil circus, but the rest of the movie really dissapointed me. Batman Returns isn't horrible, I just don't feel it does the Batman franchise justice. On the plus side, Christopher Walken is absolutely spectacular as Max Schreck. Final Verdict: 3/5 Rent or Buy?: If you're a huge Dark Knight fan this movie is obviously a must buy, but if you're just a casual fan a rental will be just fine.
