Contacted seller and was told item was a ex demo battery, and that 'I should read the description' When I replied to the seller regarding this comment I have now received an automated reply saying closed till 24.03.2024 and no more contact since. If you are advertising as Brand New I would like to receive what i have paid for, not exdemo. Seller is mis selling -will not purchase from them again.

Was described as “new” however Item received was clearly used, with residual hair & dirt in filter, offensive odour emanating from it with condensation within water tanks - it is undoubtedly a second hand machine. I contacted the seller who took a long time to respond. Eventually,they offered me £20 off “if the item worked”. I declined, and reiterated I wished a return & full refund. I am still awaiting a response & will be following up through eBay process. Not impressed

Disappointing listing out of stock items, multiple messages to send not responded to. Then when asked to cancel so can buy one in shop they send it. Then informed me that they sent a normal hoover and I should be pleased with the upgrade but I needed the hard floor mop not a hoover. No refund so ebay had to step in to gain funds back after sent back.

I had my carpets cleaned "professionslly" a few months ago and was not at all impressed. I have two huskies and a mutt so the high traffic areas of the carpets can get pretty grubby. So, i thought I'd buy new carpets... then i stumbled on a review for this amazing carpet cleaner and thought I'd give it a shot. My carpets look brand new! Literally brand new! Great carpet cleaner with minor flaws.
Firstly this does a great job in cleaning carpets and is easy to use as the solution mix is automatic. But...it does use a lot of cleaning solution, carpets do not dry in an hour as stated, and it is fiddly to clean afterwards.However, I would recommend it as it is an overall improvement on my previous model. I have given it 3 stars as 4 star description is "better than expected" and it isn't...it is as good as I expected.Firstly this does a great job in cleaning carpets and is easy to use as the solution mix is automatic. But...it does use a lot of cleaning solution, carpets do not dry in an hour as stated, and it is fiddly to clean afterwards.However, I would recommend it as it is an overall improvement on my previous model. Performs really well, all plastic so unsure how long it will last
The performance is indeed better than a hired Rug Doctor as advertised. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. Where it really wins is on stairs where the scrubbing hand tool does an excellent job and long hose allows the stairs to all be cleaned with the machine left at the bottom. Because the hose connects low down on the machine it remains stable even with the hose at full stretch. However it does not appear very robustly built, not like the earlier Vax cleaners. Only time will tell on this point. The performance is indeed better than a hired Rug Doctor as advertised. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. Brilliant machine, easy to put together, so easy to use, cleans carpets beautifully they dry within no time and leave the room smelling clean and fresh. We have an elderly dog who is now having ‘little accidents’, this machine has saved me so much time, effort and money (used to hire a carpet cleaner from a local store) I cannot fault it, so glad we bought it.

Powerful cleaning!
I have had a well used Vax for years, but wanted to upgrade having read the reviews about this one. I was really impressed with how easy it was to assemble. It's first clean of my carpet (which had been professionally washed 6 months before) brought up an amazing amount of muck! The carpet rinse function is a great idea and the carpet was dry in about 2 hours. I wouldn't buy the vax at full price and so was pleased to buy one with a significant discount due to a damaged box. Also, I agree with others that you need to consider storage.
